HOW IT BEGAN

There was an accident on I-25 last year involving a gasoline truck and a tanker filled with Toxic waste.  Upon impact the Gasoline truck exploded and the resulting fire made it impossible for the Hazmat Unit to get to the tanker filled with the waste before it dumped its contents into the South Platte River.  Although every possible method was used to neutralize the toxic waste, strange reports started coming into the Unit about strange plant life, deformed animals, and worse.  Even though every precaution was taken to protect the human population from this disaster, several vagrants, who were lived under the bridge of the South Platte, drank the contaminated water.  The result:  People became deathly ill. Their bodies were covered with boils and they eventually died…or did they?  ZOMBIES now rule the night in Denver!
The CDC needs your help to find a cure before it is too late.  You must stop the virus from spreading

As we walked up to the ticket booth to Dead before Dawn, my team seemed to be a little skeptical.  I mean really, how good can a haunted house be when it’s located in the middle of an arcade??  Boy, were we wrong.  .The storyline follows a chemical spill that occurred in the Platte River that has since contaminated the locals and turned them all into zombies.  The house has quite a few very cool elements including a crawl over coffin, a revolving entry, and a de-contamination chamber.  Committed acting and awesome set design contribute to good scares, but there were a few dead spots as you make your way through the house.

My friends and I decided that we wanted to check out this new Haunted House so we drove to Red and Jerry's and found it tucked behind the Arcade. We were a little taken back when we were handed masks to wear and told to put them on because the virus was still active and it was for our own protection. Virus?? What virus?? At this point we knew that this wasn't going to be your typical Haunted House and we had better pay attention to what was going on.

Seems a chemical spell contaminated the water and this created a virus which created the Zombies. We were told that we had to find this Doctor (forgot his name) since he was the only one with the cure. We were then put on this turntable and decontaminated! We were literally put into the Zombies lair. Skeletons and people were moving all around us. Skeletons didn't say much, but I swear one of the Zombies asked if he could eat my brains! Left to our own devices we tried to maneuver our way through cemetaries, churches, labratories and even a room where we had to push our way through these blow up walls. There were toxic waste areas and when we did find the Doctors house, he wasn't even there. Why?? Because the Zombies had taken it over!!
